Transgender: Enforced Sterilization.

In most countries laws have been adopted to allow post-corrected transsexual women and men to change their legal sex.   Transsexual people do not undergo 'enforced' sterilization.  They resolve a fundamental incongruity between their neuro-biological sex and their anatomical sex.  There is nothing 'forced' or non consensual about the process.

David Reimer was deliberately sterilized as a baby as part of the plan to make him grow up believing he was a girl.  The loss of his penis did not make him infertile.  That only happened with the surgical removal of his testicles on the advice of  John Money.  The Reimer case is a perfect example of non consensual sterilization.

On the subject of identities sexologist and biologist,‭  ‬Milton Diamond has this to say.

Sex and Gender are Different:‭ ‬Sexual Identity and Gender Identity are Different‭

Sexual‭ ‬identity‭ ‬speaks to the way one views him or her self as a male or female.‭ ‬This inner conviction of identification usually mirrors one's outward physical appearance and the typically sex-linked role one develops and prefers or society attempts to impose.‭

Gender identity is recognition of the perceived social gender attributed to a person.‭ ‬Typically a male is perceived as a boy or a man where boy and man are social terms with associated cultural expectations attached.‭ ‬Similarly,‭ ‬a female is perceived as a girl or woman.‭ ‬The distinctions made between boy and girl and man and woman are of age and usually again represent differences in societal expectations that go along with increases in maturity.

Gender and‭ ‬gender role refers to society's idea of how boys or girls or men and women are expected to behave and should be treated.‭ ‬A display of gender,‭ ‬as with a gender role,‭ ‬represents a public manifestation of gender identity...‭  ‬Gender has everything to do with the society,‭ ‬in which one lives and may or may not have much to do with biology.‭

Just as sex is biological and gender is social and cultural,‭ ‬sex identity is biological and‭ ‬gender identity is social and cultural.


Post corrected women and men are routinely abused, vilified and condemned by TG activists for asserting their independence and rejecting the transgender 'umbrella'.  Transgenders have succeeded in almost completely subsuming and colonizing  the Transsexed experience to their own ends.  As a result  transsexuals are now openly exploited by individuals who desire to pass themselves off in public by adopting the clothing and presentation of the opposite sex!

So we come to this:

Mandatory sterilization & trans men in Australia

Two recent test cases in New South Wales and Western Australia have seen three trans men fight for the right to be legally male without being sterilized.

In both states, transgendered people of both sexes are allowed to change the sex on their birth certificates after they have had genital surgery (commonly known as SRS, Sexual Reassignment Surgery). Further evidence from GPs, endocrinologists, and psychiatrists are also required. This status quo has meant the compulsory sterilization of all transgendered people wishing to change their documents.

Estrogen permanently sterilizes transgendered women fairly early in the hormonal transition process. However while it is being taken, testosterone freezes but does not permanently remove the ability of a trans man to conceive a child. It is only SRS which permanently sterilizes a trans man.

And from Canada:

Trans people who want to change the designation of sex on their birth certificate are required to undergo "medical treatments and surgical operations involving a structural modification of sexual organs intended to change [their] sexual characteristics" – in other words, sterilization. Even though the Director of Civil Status does not explicitly require trans people to be sterile in order to change their designation of sex, these conditions necessarily involve forced sterilization of trans people.

Not Surprisingly the Transgender's co-dependents, WPATH are right behind them!

 The Board of Directors of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), in the interest of the health and well-being of transgender and transsexual people world-wide, issued today, 16 June 2010, the following identity recognition statement:

    No person should have to undergo surgery or accept sterilization as a condition of identity recognition. If a sex marker is required on an identity document, that marker could recognize the person’s lived gender, regardless of reproductive capacity. The WPATH Board of Directors urges governments and other authoritative bodies to move to eliminate requirements for identity recognition that require surgical procedures.

Transsexuals ( as opposed to trans-people) seek out SRS as a remedy for their conflicted biologies.  After they have obtained a degree of congruity between their somatic or anatomical sex and their neuro-biological sex (are post corrected) they are able to register the correction on public documents in most countries.  They are not coerced or forced, nor do they, as the Canadian excerpt suggests, undertake the medical and surgical process merely so they can change their public documents!

Armed with that information the enforced sterilization claim is revealed for what it is. Little more than a cynical, self absorbed and unprincipled attempt to exploit the distress of biological transsexualism whilst not actually  experiencing the condition.  Furthermore the TG's who raise it demonstrate exactly as much comprehension of transsexualism as the John Money disciples and WPATH behaviorists who they depend on for validation.
